Laying the Groundwork for Stronger Mobile Connectivity
At a large industrial site in Queensland, mobile coverage was critical to keeping operations smooth and teams connected. When concerns were raised about inconsistent indoor mobile performance, our team was called in to conduct a comprehensive on-site signal survey across Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone networks, covering both 4G and 5G spectrums.
Using advanced RF scanning tools, we identified that while outdoor coverage was generally strong across the site, signal quality inside some areas of the facility dropped below serviceable thresholds—particularly for Telstra and Vodafone. These low-signal zones risked causing dropped calls, poor data speeds, and connectivity issues that could impact both staff communication and the operation of smart systems inside the warehouse.
The survey mapped every grid zone with precision, giving the customer clear visibility into where the problem spots were and which areas might require mobile repeater infrastructure in the future. It also included detailed breakdowns of signal strength, quality, and tower alignment, all backed by visual heatmaps and technical insights that they can use to plan upgrades confidently.
With our findings, the customer can now move forward with a data-driven strategy to enhance coverage—whether through targeted repeater installations or infrastructure improvements. The result? Better mobile performance indoors and a more resilient network foundation to support operations today and into the future.
