MyPractice Network: Smarter Clinics with Guest Wi-Fi and App Integration

Medinet approached us with a vision: to make visiting a medical clinic faster, smarter, and more connected. Working together, we rolled out a high-speed guest Wi-Fi solution integrated directly with the MyPractice App. This wasn’t just free Wi-Fi—it was a frictionless digital experience that encouraged app downloads, enabled check-ins, and offered patients real-time queue updates.

At the heart of the solution was a fleet of powerful 5G routers installed at each clinic, all securely connected via VPN to a central cloud platform. This allowed for live system monitoring, remote firmware updates, and secure access for support—all while keeping the network isolated from clinic systems. Patients simply walked in, connected, and the MyPractice App took care of the rest—launching automatically and guiding users through check-in and notifications.

Behind the scenes, a custom-built cloud portal provided real-time usage dashboards, geo-fenced push notifications, and queue management tools for reception staff. From notifying patients when they’re next in line to promoting app features through location-based messages, every detail was designed to improve engagement and operational efficiency.
